2. Hosting
This website is hosted by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes technical connection data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) to deliver the site and protect it against attacks. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and fast operation).
3. Fonts and images
Fonts are hosted on this server; no connection to Google Fonts is made. Some article photos are loaded from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com, Unsplash Inc., USA), which receives your IP address when the image is displayed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Cookies and consent
On your first visit you can choose which optional services to allow. Nothing optional is loaded before you decide. You can change your choice at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.

6. Google AdSense
Only if you consent, ads are shown via Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited). Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers and IP addresses to deliver and measure ads. 7. Newsletter
If you subscribe, your email address is processed by Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, 7 rue de Madrid, 75008 Paris, France) as our processor. We use double opt-in: you are only subscribed after clicking the link in the confirmation email. Brevo logs the time of sign-up and confirmation as proof of consent. We send an email only on days when a new article is published. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by writing to contact@cowlpane.com. Your address is then removed from the list.
8. Partner links
Links to partners (Abacus.AI, root seven consulting) are normal links. Data is only transferred to them if you click and visit their website.
9. Your rights
You have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR), and you may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.
